Arul Edwin has 30 years of professional experience working on projects with agencies such as Caltrans, Santa Clara County Traffic Authority/VTA, Alameda County Transportation Commission (formerly Alameda County Congestion Management Agency) Massachusetts DOT, Washington State DOT, and the Ministry of Transport, Qatar. He worked as a traffic engineer as well as highway design manager for various projects throughout the United States such as Route 237 Freeway Upgrade project, Route 87 HOV Lane Widening project, I-880 HOV Lane Widening project, Central Artery/Tunnel Project, Boston, I-405 Widening Project, Kirkland, WA, and 2022 World Cup Transportation Improvement Program, Qatar. In addition, he has performed traffic impact studies for various developments, corridor-wide traffic operations analysis, traffic safety studies, and transit studies. He holds a B. Eng., and M. Eng. degrees in Civil Engineering from Bangalore University, India and an M.S degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
