Jose Alfredo Garcia-Rubio, EIT

Jose Alfredo Garcia Rubio is the current Treasurer for the San Jose Young Member Forum. Jose graduated from Walla Walla University from the state of Washington with a BS in Civil Engineering. While at WWU, Jose took different leadership roles throughout campus. Jose grew up in Glendale, Arizona, and moved to the Bay Area with his fiancée in search of better opportunities. When he is not studying he is enjoying the great outdoors hiking or watching a good movie with family and friends. He likes to cook and is always willing to try new dishes in the kitchen. Helping others and having a good time is the best way that he spends his days. Jose started working as a Project Engineer for Core Builders GC, in December 2021. His goal is to be a Project Manager after working for 5 years. He worked for ENGEO for almost 6 months where he got the opportunity to meet many hard working people. Before working in the construction industry he helped his father in his Landscaping and Handyman business. He is excited to explore the Bay Area and meet fellow Civil Engineers.
