Cindy E. Diaz, EIT

Cindy Diaz is the ASCE San Jose Young Members Forum's Social Chair. She graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and is currently recognized as an Engineer- In- Training by the California Board for Professional Engineers. She works for Mark Thomas & Co. where she started off as an intern. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, but she specially enjoys water sports and playing basketball with her family and friends. Cindy plans on becoming a licensed professional engineer, but she also hopes to make a difference in the world by helping children in Guatemala learn how to read, and write. In the near future, she hopes to find a way to help the young children that work in the streets of Guatemala as fire entertainers.
