ASCE's Key Contact Program is the Society's grassroots advocacy program.
Through the Key Contact Program, members can learn about public policy
issues important to the civil engineering profession and help advance
the priorities of the profession through interaction with elected
leaders. For more information about the key contact program you can visit here or contact Sarah.Merrill@ch2m.com to find out more about the Key Contact program here in the bay area.
For those of you interested in learning more about the proposed resolution that
supports and encourages the American Society of Civil
Engineers (Society) to add a 501(c)(6) federal tax code designation to
the existing 501(c)(3) designation, please consider the following documents. The resolution was voted on at the 2011 Western Regional Younger Member Council (WRYMC) conference on Feb. 11 and will be recommended to the ASCE Board of Directors.
